With the hopes of everything opening up on June 21st, and now being told to stay inside. We as a nation are still wondering what to do to leave those negative vibes behind and check in on our mental health. Doing small things every single day helps you and your mindset!
You always need to be and feel the best you can, these are small simple steps you can start now to carry on into the future!
- Make your bed every morning
A easy way to trick your mind into feeling like you’re organised and ready to start the day is making the bed. You need to create a mindset that you are happy with, if there is clutter in your room this is a showcase of what your mind might be like! So put some music on, dance in your room and make it fun! Its the best way to start the day right.
2. Start your day hydrated!
Whilst our body sleeps we get dehydrated. Aiming to start the day with a glass of water every morning. You will instantly feel refreshed and more awake.. It also is the best way to kick start your metabolism for the day!
3. Going to the gym
Exercise has proven to have endless benefits for your mind, body and mental health. This is because it releases good endorphins, so you should try to work out everyday!
Even if it is a small HITT class at home, or a morning yoga routine with friends in your back garden.
4. Eat to care for you!
What you eat has a huge impact on how you feel within your body, mind and soul. It can be so easy to make choices to get a takeaway, have a few snacks here and there.. But this may make you feel sluggish and very unproductive!
Set yourself goals, this means when it comes to your intake you allow yourself a few treats here and there! Make sure you have at lease one piece of fruit a day for a snack as well as greens with every single meal!
5. Take time out from social..
Being distanced from a lot of people might be a lot right now, but not everything you hear and read is the best for your mindset right now.. If it gets too much, put the phone down. Take time out for you.. no matter what you love doing DO THAT.
